Since 1921

A little history

The Trinity County Fair was first held in 1921. In July 2026 the Fair marked its 105th year with the theme "105 Years of Country Cheer." Generations of Trinity County families have shown livestock, entered quilts and photographs, walked in the parade, and met their neighbors on these grounds.

The Trinity County Fair Association is a nonprofit community organization. Its stated mission is to provide for the management of the Trinity County Fair and year-round use of the fairgrounds in the best interest of the people of Trinity County and its rural county values, by partnering with county agencies and businesses, promoting agriculture and education, and maximizing available resources.

Youth agriculture

Junior Livestock

Young people from 4-H, FFA, Grange, and independent projects across Trinity County raise and show market and breeding animals, compete in showmanship, and sell at the annual Junior Livestock Auction. The 2026 auction was the 68th.

It is hard work, and it is where a lot of Trinity County kids learn responsibility and stewardship.

Local support

Thank you to our supporters

Local businesses keep the fairgrounds running, the youth programs funded, and the gates open. We are grateful to every one of them.
