Open year round

Rent the fairgrounds

The Trinity County Fairgrounds are more than four days in July. Throughout the year the grounds host weddings, dinners, celebrations of life, cultural celebrations, school events, meetings, and fundraisers for organizations across the county.

Tell us your date and roughly how many people you expect, and we will let you know what is available.

6000 Hwy 3, Hayfork, CA 96041. Sending an inquiry does not book a date. A member of the Fair staff will get back to you.

Our spaces

The property includes both indoor buildings and outdoor areas, suitable for small meetings up to large gatherings.

Detailed space information is being updated

We are in the middle of putting accurate details online for each building and outdoor area, including sizes, capacities, and what is included. Rather than publish numbers we have not checked, we would rather you talk to someone who knows the grounds.

Call the Fair Office at (530) 628-5223 and tell us what you are planning. We will tell you which space fits, what it costs, and whether your date is open.

How renting works

Nothing here has to happen online. Every step can be done by phone or in person at the Fair Office.

  1. Tell us about your event. Send an inquiry with your date and rough guest count, or call the office. This is not a booking and it does not commit you to anything.
  2. We check availability and talk it through. A staff member gets back to you about your date and which space suits what you are planning.
  3. Come see the grounds. You are welcome to walk the property before deciding. Arrange a time with the office.
  4. Complete the rental agreement. [REPLACE: RENTAL_AGREEMENT_PROCESS - describe the actual application and contract steps, including any supporting documents such as a certificate of insurance, and how the agreement is returned.]
  5. Your date is confirmed. [REPLACE: CONFIRMATION_AND_DEPOSIT_TERMS - describe what actually secures a date, including any deposit and when it is due.]

Rental agreements are recorded and reported to the Fair Association board, which is why the paperwork matters.

Have this ready

It makes the first conversation much faster.

  • Your preferred date, and an alternate if you have one
  • Roughly how many people you expect
  • What kind of event it is
  • Whether you want indoor, outdoor, or are not sure yet
  • Whether you plan to serve alcohol
  • Any setup or equipment you will need
  • Any accessibility accommodations for your guests

Pricing

Rental rates depend on which space you need, how long you need it, and what the event involves. Rather than post a number that may not apply to your event, we will quote you directly.

Request pricing when you send an inquiry, or call the office and ask. There is no cost and no obligation to find out.

[REPLACE: PRICING_APPROACH - if the Association adopts a published rate card, replace this whole section with the rates. A published rate is far better than a quote request, when the rate exists.]

Accessibility for your guests

Tell us what your guests need and we will tell you honestly what the grounds can and cannot do. That is a better answer than a general claim.

[REPLACE: VENUE_ACCESSIBILITY_SUMMARY - describe verified accessible parking, entrances, restrooms, and routes across the grounds. Do not publish an accessibility claim that has not been checked in person: someone will rely on it.]

Start with your date

Send us your date and guest count, or pick up the phone. Either way a person will get back to you. Sending an inquiry does not reserve a date or commit you to anything.
