Campground rules

These are the rules every camper agrees to when they register. Most of them come down to looking after the place and being a good neighbour.

You sign these when you fill out the campsite registration form. If anything here is unclear, call the Fair Office before you book rather than after you arrive.

Fees in the rules

These charges appear in the rules below. They are collected here so nothing catches you by surprise.

One thing we are checking. These rules count adults, two per tent or car space and four per RV space. The 2026 pricing sheet counts campers, with additional campers at $10 each. Those two documents word it differently, and we would rather tell you that than guess. If you are travelling with children, call the office at (530) 628-5223 and we will give you a straight answer for your group.

Release of liability

This paragraph appears on the registration form directly above the signature line. By signing the form you agree to it.

I release and hold harmless the State of California, the California Fair Services Authority, Trinity County Fair Association, County of Trinity, their directors, officers, agents, servants, and employees in any way connected with my activities on the fairground's campground for any loss, damage or injury. Further, I assume and accept the full risk and danger for any injury or damage to myself or my property which may occur through or by reason of any matter, thing, condition or any person or persons whatsoever in any way connected with my activities on the fairground's campground.

The registration form also states: if you or your guests do not abide by the rules, you agree to vacate the premises.

Ready to camp?

Questions before you book

If any rule affects your plans, ask first. It is much easier to sort out over the phone than after you have driven here.

Need these rules in a different format? Call and we will get them to you another way. Accessibility
